Instigators Unite!

We need to a crew to help spread the word about the Pedaler’s Jamboree/Bear Creek Bluegrass! Forget investing in Facebook and online marketing (we don’t want to feed that machine). We would rather connect and friends of the events and keep things grassroots! Word of mouth is the best advertising and we trust our friends to be part of the grass roots crew helping recruit good fun loving people to join the fun!

Influencers are needed to connect with new communities and be our hype engine. Help is needed with spreading the word, sharing flyers and posters, posting online, talking it up with friends, and helping create a ripple effect of excitement for the events on the horizon.

If you are up for the challenge of creating a buzz for the event and getting creative on how to share the spirit of the festival. Than this might be a role for you!

There’s no single “right” way to do this. Be yourself, have fun with it, and bring your own style. Your energy and personality is what makes this work.

Street Team Challenges
We have never done this before we we could use some help on how to pull it off! We will share plans and ideas in email updates to team members.

In the mean time here are some of the ideas that come to mind

  • Spreading the word, sharing flyers and posters, posting online, sharing and commenting on the event Facebook and Instagram posts…

  • We need some friends in the STL - KC - Des Moines - Quad Cities - Omaha - Springfield, MO area to help connect with these target audiences

  • Iowa Challenge - We need help connecting with Iowa cycling groups - especially RAGBRAI teams. How can we connect with these groups? 

  • We would like to get posters in every bike shop that we can! Let’s connect with as many bicycle groups as possible! Have fun spreading the word at breweries, coffee shops, record stores, group rides, other festivals and trail systems!

  • There will be a shared spreadsheet of bicycle shops and groups in each state and then we can mark off when they have been contacted.

  • Info on perks, rewards, and how we’ll track your impact

Rewards:
All team members will get Instigator and PedJam stickers and some small swag. Depending on the level of commitment and involvement there will also be limited edition Instigator shirts and patches. PedJam and Bear Creek Bluegrass gear, beer passports, merch vouchers and random stuff that we like to send out! We will make sure to take care of you!
