PEDALER’S JAMBOREE 2024 Poster & Shirt Design -

The art of the 15th anniversary Missouri Homegrown Pedaler’s Jamboree!

Hard to believe that this will be the 15th Pedaler’s Jamboree! Keeping up with the annual tradition of having a new poster designed for the ride, we decided to continue to work with the creative mind of Zigally on another work of art in 2024! Not only is his artwork amazingly imaginative and masterfully crafted but it also a perfect fit for stickers, jerseys and all the fun loving swag that everyone loves to get on the ride! In collaboration with our event partner Shelter Insurance we were able to give away a couple thousand free posters of the 2023 design last year and will be getting new posters out to riders this spring! What a treat to get great artwork into the hands of our favorite people!

Zigally once again knocked it out of the park for this year’s artwork! His playful poster design of the riders at the carnival style Jamboree is the perfect face of the 15th anniversary ride and a great representation of what the event is all about! Keep an eye out for stickers of some of these characters! In addition to the poster, I gave Zigally a bonus psychedelic challenge to create a 60's hallucination shirt design! The results are mind altering! Karen the Tye-Die Queen is making a special batch of shirts for riders who want to cross the line of better judgment!

If you are ever looking for a great artist, I totally recommend connecting with Zigally and if you are a music lover, do yourself a favor and check out his work!

PEDALER’S JAMBOREE 2023 Poster & Shirt Design -

An out of body Pedaler’s Jamboree experience

Believe me when I tell you that I tell you that I ponder all year long on the bands and the artwork for the Pedaler’s Jamboree. It’s never an easy decision and is an important one to find an artist that can portray the direction of the event and create something memorable that can be used from posters to stickers and t-shirts and much more. I have a list of artist a mile long that I would absolutely love to work with on projects (and hopefully someday will).

Scrolling through Instagram I came across a poster for the musician Allison Ponthier, who I was a fan of with her work with the band Lord Huron. It really grabbed my attention and I quickly dived into the rabbit hole of amazing artwork by the artist known as Zigally. Take a look at this amazing portfolio! After sleeping on the idea for a couple days, I reached out with a message and inquired if there would be any chance that we might be able to collaborate on a work of art for the Pedaler’s Jamboree.

Soon, I received an answer and was relieved to hear that the artist loved the idea of the event and was excited for the opportunity! Not only that but he found time to focus on the project and get some ideas in motion right away! I sent some examples of past poster work but made it clear that I was inspired by his creativity and style and didn’t want to influence his artwork in any way. Actually, I mentioned that I would love to see the Missouri River and a bicycle in the design somewhere.

A couple weeks later, I got some sketch designs sent over. WOW! Skeletons, The Missouri Monster (MOMO), Aliens, gnomes and mushrooms! OMG Yes! I love it! What a wonderful way to capture the weird and wild ride that the Pedaler’s Jamboree is going to be this year! Two sketches were sent over and I totally said yes to both! After a few minor suggestions the final pieces came together fantastically well! After all these years of different poster designs there is another great work to add to the collection that stands it own along with the best of them! It was really fun working with the artist, who I would totally hang out with and go on rides with (if he didn’t end up living in California)! We hope that you enjoy the Pedaler’s Jamboree poster and the t-shirt design of the Skeletons night riding on the trail! If you are ever looking for a great artist, I totally recommend connecting with Zigally and if you are a music lover, do yourself a favor and check out his work!
